Lovely couple in for three days but was amazed at the make up kit she had brought with her!
I thought I travelled with lots of products compared to my friends when we go away but she beats me hands down!

I'm of the minimalist school when it comes to packing for trips - includes make-up. My dear Auntie Betty was surprised one day when she found I was taking only one lipstick with me!
@quietpurplehaze Oh dear I have to have lots of stuff, nor fancy but my Cleanse & Polish, toner, night cream, day cream, face oil, plus of course all my shower stuff. Not much make up though, just foundation, lipstick, blusher & that's it. Seems to take up a lot of room though!
@thistle@carolmw@carolmw I like the natural look & to be fair Alison looked lovely this morning, I couldn't tell she had much on but that's the secret, to look natural but enhanced! That's why I think I was so surprised when I saw her kit!
Thats some collection, I've never owned that much makeup ever! I travel light ...just have to pack my straighteners and the basic essential items..... And hope she remembered to unplug the straighteners
I expect she just couldn't face the day without all this! But did you see her without the make-up - like first thing in the morning! My SIL looks frightful in the morning but after makeup, just charming!
What a wonderful collection. I wouldn't even know how to use much of it (and at my age it's probably useless trying to learn). I love your photo subject.
@jgpittenger Really Jane, you are a natural girl then! I do like a bit especially if we go out at night. I like a light foundation too with sunfactor to protect my face from sun & wind working outside does play havoc with your skin.
Lots brushes and shadows! ...still if it makes her feel good that's the main thing! ...i wonder how many hours a week/month/year she spends on doing her makeup!
Great commentary on societies obsession with looking good! I seldom wear any makeup anymore and feel much better than I did when I would never go out without if.
