Popped into the village this afternoon to post Finn's birthday present & noticed all the trees were up on the shop fronts & the big tree in the square.
I took this shot quickly as I came out of the veg shop & then went & chopped the tree in half!
Three good things:
1. Harry has found a car he likes so they are off to see it tomorrow, fingers crossed he decides to buy! It's been a long job!
2. An old school friend I have recently got in touch with on FB has sent me an old school photo taken in 1959, one of those long black & white ones you see in people's loos! Of course I have my head down & half hidden behind someone else but I'm really happy to have it. Will get it framed & hung in the dining room with all the other old black & white photos.
3. Generosity.
This really does have a festive look to it with the golden light in the windows even though there isn't a hint of frost let alone snow!
Very well composed and pretty.
Lovely stone walls to draw you in to this pretty shop! Does Xmas orders for vegetables include parsnips, pumpkin, brussel sprouts etc? Good for Harry to have his son to help with a car purchase!
@maggiemae Yes the lot Maggie! We are having Christmas dinner here before the visitors go home. Yes the only oerson able to get harry to make his mind up is Brian. Believe me he has been dithering for three years!
Scary that it is only 39 days till Christmas. Haven't even thought much about it yet, although we did buy the grandsons Christmas presents last weekend.
Suddenly its starting to look a bit like Xmas...even here in St Pete...they have some lights on all the trees by the harbour.. All white..looks very pretty
Could just do a visit there Pat. Off to do a veg shop later! Looks so inviting.
Went to get the paper this morning and the town Christmas trees were all lit up!
