A wet chilly day.....solution!

Not much camera tecnique here but an alright diary shot which I seem to tend to do these days.

Four if us in the house at the moment so more washing around.

Three good things:
1. Brian & Lesley have gone off to York for a couple of days, they love York.
2. Cathy has been to a Podiatry conference in Glasgow & took in the Country Living Christmas Fair the next day....lots of goodies bought apparently!
3. Andy Murray our number one tennis player!
Lucky to have the area to get things dry on a gloomy day..lucky for me that nice and fine when I got home from my few days away sun still shinning bag emptied and washed a dried before dinner..

Good old Aga !! such a lovely commodity to have in your kitchen -- so versatile in its uses -- Such a horrible November day -- rain ,rain and more rain . So nice and cosy to sit in front of the fire / TV for the evening !!

I sympathise Pat. I have washing all over the house today after having 10 beds to change and 10 bath towels after the busy weekend. The house is nice and warm though so it's drying quickly.

@susiemc Wow ten beds is a lot! No sheets for me today as quiet this weekend. You will be ready for a little rest! Making them all will be a work out!!

What a lovely cosy scene Pat! My kitchen is very minimal as my house is quite small and modern, but I do love the traditional feel and look here.

@happypat I don't usually have that many beds, we had 3 extra this weekend. Fortunately I have until next weekend to get everything done.

We have a ceiling rack in the kitchen and I couldn't manage without it this weather. Lovely shot Pat our kitchen looked like this quite often in winter when we had an Aga

Drying clothes this way works but is such a pain!

@thistle Ina a ceiling rack in my old kitchen Joyce but the ceiling is too low in this one unfortunately, they are a wonderful invention!

WOW that is one solution Pat :) :)

Fortunately for us we dont have to hang the washing around the house as it it doesnt completely dry on the line I have a dryer to finish it off. Those Agas are wonderful things for drying and heating as well as cooking of course. You must have to have a good stock of sheets to keep up in the winter months
