I took Jack to Preston railway station this afternoon for his train back to Sheffield.
He has exams this month so has to get back to his studying.
Jack the one with the case & rucksack.
Three good things:
1. A special offer on Felix cat pouches at Morrisons when I called in on my way home.
2. I am reading a reall good book called The Widow by Fiona Barton.
3. Yellowstone Park documentary tonight, looks like it might be good.
@julzmaioro I dithered Julz because I am a colour person & Jacks case is a gorgeous shade of orange on the top but I have tried to be a bit more varied in posting this photo. Thank you.
A great image in B & W, all the kids going back to varsity (well that's what it looks like) and then the older chap who looks rather as though he is wondering if there will be room for him on the train!
A lovely sharp shot in B/W Great composition and processing , Like you I prefer colour to B/W , but this scene is wonderful in this media and most probably creates more interest than if it was in colour .
All the younger generation seem to be rushing to get on the train while the elderly gentleman is waiting patiently -- perhaps waiting for someone to to come off the train ! fav
@beryl Actually Jack was just walking past this train on his way to the waiting room Beryl. He had 15 minutes before his train arrived so thought he would keep warm.
I do think people shots look better in B&W! You see form and shape more distinctly! Easy to pick out Jack- he's a hard worker but will achieve so much!
