Lovely shiny wine glasses all ready for your glass of wine!
Three good things:
1. We have been to see La La Land. Great score with good jazz, lyrics & dancing but not much of a plot & a disappointing ending, not sure I would recommend it but we have seen lots worse! Over hyped I feel!
2. I found some Terry's Chocolate Oranges for sale at Amazon.
3. Out for fish & chips tonight.
Looks very welcoming and cosy inside.. love the hanging basket and wreath.. I did wonder about that movie.. I pick movies carefully in summer don't want to waste a good day sitting in the dark..
Nice presentation Pat, we saw La La Land which was pretty cool, and also the one about the Great Wall of China...when choosing the blurb didn't seem to mention thousands and thousands of green monsters!!!
I want to go to the Cartford Inn! Hoping to see LaLa this week (while Nigel is away again) - sounds like I might fall asleep in it which I've done every afternoon!!
I can see more than wine glasses in the window! The flower pot is unusual and very artfully created. That movie got top award - wonder why from your experience!
What a nice clean looking pub with its shiny windows reflecting the trees ! and the basket of flowers hanging there --wished they had taken down the Christmas wreath !
@judithg I will be interested to hear what you thought of the film Judith, perhaps it's just me! I think it was just the weak story that did it, I should be satisfied with all the music & dancing. Seem to have got out of touch with musicals I think.
@maggiemae Lots of awards Maggie, not saying it wasn't good but disappointing fir me perhaps because of that. Lovely haunting melody running through which was the best bit!
@beryl I put this photo on Instagram & the Cartford commented that she had left the wreaths up because they looked so pretty! I must show you a full frontage photo Beryl!
@happypat - Oh no , Pat !! thoughts of the moment (and all that !! Tou are up early !! I am waiting for my car to be picked up for its Mot & annual service -- hope the old dear (car ) is OK !!!!
@beryl I have been up before 7am every morning for a week trying to book a sMe day appointment for an ear syringe Beryl. You have to ring that day but up until this morning I haven't been successful! 2pm today so I can relax in the morning! The regular B&Bers used to Harry making their breakfast have had me cooking for the last week! Back to normal next week!
