Atrium on Takutai

This lovely shopping area in Auckland city centre is the home of a number of high end luxury shops.

As you can see it features two beautiful living green walls. Harvested rainwater is used to keep the plants fresh & green.
It was very effective & made you gaze upwards at the beauty.

Another miserable windy wet day so using my filler holiday shots.

Three good things:
1. Seeing my brother & sister in law having fun with Anthony & Jo & the boys. We skyped this morning.
2. Listening to the Irish Taoiseach giving a great speech on the history of Irish immigration to America in front of President Trump.
3. Google to learn how to spell Taoiseach
Such an elegant shopping mall. It looks so streamlined, clean, and green.
Taoiseach has more than its share of vowels. 🙂

Such a surprising look for a shopping center, but looks like an ecologically sound plan to give cleaner air to shoppers.

Never known about this place until now! Somebody did well with the design and build! Good to see it being shown around the world here! Google even told you how to pronounce this Taoiseach ( ti:fex)! Who would have known!
