These are the two lovely girls staying with us over the last two nights.
I picked them up from Preston train station last night & today we have had a real trip out.
We drove to the Lake District stopping at Bo'ness then on to the Langdale Pike area. After that we stopped in Hawkshead for a bit then onto the Windermere Ferry before a visit to Sizergh Barn for a little soup & coffee for me.
The cafe overlooks the milking shed which was the great attraction as they are both farm girls.
Tonight I drove them along the promenade in Blackpool. Couldn't come all the way to the North of England without visiting Blackpool!
Three good things:
1. Really delightful visitors.
2. Beautiful weather for our day out.
3. Storybook, a special website for us to follow Finn at his Kindy in NZ. Jo put our names down & signed us up, have just watched a lovely video of him playing tea parties with his friend Ethan.
