Great Eccleston Show today & it pretty much rained all day on & off.
The boys loved the rabbits & it was interesting watching the judging!
Every bit was examined, backs, tummies, ears, eyes etc. Some beautiful rabbits!
Harry looked at this photo & said 'how do you judge a rabbit?' How indeed!
I only got Fourth in my photo entries, I think the judges are blind sometimes, I had high hopes of my Dublin one at least!
What a bad loser I am!!

How interesting - I hope none of the rabbits escaped !! The two on the table look very docile ! ! Shame on the photo judges for not recognising talent when they see it -- never mind we love your photos on 365 ! :)
I thought the same as Harry. 'how do you judge a rabbit'. Sorry to hear you only got fourth for your photos. Judges don't always know what they are talking about. At the end of the day it is only one person's opinion. A judge at our photo club commented on one of our members photos taken in Antarctica. It was a brilliant photo and the judge said 'It would be nice if there was a swan in the foreground on the water' The owner of the photo said 'It's ANTARCTICA'

Don't be diappointed about your 4th place in the photography competition Pat. I'm sure that people who judge them don't know what they're talking about most of the time and so called "experts" are the worst. You are definitely NOT a bad loser. Has your Dublin one been on 365? I've been trying to remember.

@susiemc Thanks Sue, someone told me today that the judge was the same as last years & he likes an arty photo. Mine were not arty just photos of street scenes mostly but I liked them & they really stood out. Yes the Dublin one was on 365, can't remember when but around early December last year.
Disappointing about your photos - but you are courageous to enter them. I don't have that quality. Love looking at all the different people in this shot -including the cute rabbit!
I love your photos............you have something special about the way you capture life around you and I often know the photo is yours before I see your name on the screen. Sorry about the judges.....!
