St. Martins Church Bo'ness

I have posted a photo of this little church before but I always like the look of it somehow.
Last time there was a church fete on & this time it looks as though they have had a recent wedding.
Always looks pretty & welcoming.

A rainy day & I am just hoping that we will all be rained out by tomorrow as we are having a big party tomorrow afternoon.
We want sun, warmth & no wind please! I would be struggling to fit eighty in the house I think!

Three good things:
1. Our grandson Jack graduated from Sheffield University today.
2. Finn has come out in his chicken Pox spots today, could have been better timing but at least they will be able to fly home as he wil be over the worst by the 30th.
3. Lots of washing of tables & chairs & the garden & house all tidy.
A beautiful old building , great architecture -- love the simplicity in design , repetition of its many stained glass windows , and built ,no doubt in local stone ! It looks so tidy and well kept and still must be in the heart of the community !
I hope your wishes will come true for tomorrow and the weather will be kind -- it is absolutely pouring it down here tonight -- and you are welcome to send any rain down our way tomorrow ( the land needs it ) so that you can party to your heart's content . Have a great time !

@beryl @gijsje Thank you both & I have looked at the weather forecast loads of times over the last few days! Improving from today & it actually gives a good rain free day at the moment, could all change in the morning though! Hope you are improving Beryl, I think of you with that new knee! Will get back to normal soon! Xx

This church is lovely. Is this view the side of the church? If so, I would love to see the front. The stone and windows are beautiful.

What a beautiful building. It must be very old.

How awful that both Max and Finn have been poorly during their visit. Hope it doesn't spoil their enjoyment too much.
