Feeding time by happypat

Feeding time

When we were farming next door we always had loads of swallows coming back each year to nest in the barns. They returned to the same nests each year so we were worried that when they converted the barn to a house they would gave nowhere to go.

Needn't have worried they have taken over our big shed where we park the cars. Little beggers have been messing on my car for weeks now but they are about to fly the nest.
Mum still feeding them but they are flying about so it's only a matter of days before they are off I think.

Three good things:
1. Birds.
2. Caller display, I can see all the duff calls from nuisance callers & ignore!
3. Harry has passed his eye test at the clinic, all clear for another 6 months.

These are cute little beggars! They perch on the nest with their bottoms out and whacko - all below gets white! We had to put nets up to stop them building nests above the front door at our last property!

@maggiemae I didn't mind the swallows so much Maggie but hate the pigeons that try & nest up,there we do not allow them to build, but these swallows caughtbus out! The pigeons will lay eggs on the beams with about three twigs fir a nest!
