Five in for B&B tonight, all part of a charity ride from John 'O Groats to Lands End.
Three of them riding these 50cc mopeds. Two back up, one on the bigger bike & a girl in a van.
I have forgotten which charity they are riding for, I will ask again in the morning.
My utility room & kitchen are full of wet motor bike gear dripping all over the floor!
Three good things:
1. My car has been in for service & MOT today & I had a brand new courtesy car, luckily I prefer my own!
2. Family have all had a great time in Yorkshire, all fourteen of them from my son in laws family enjoy going away all together once a year. Dad's, mum's, kids & partners.
3. Next doors missing cat came home again during the night.
Motorbikers do like to park their bikes in a nice straight line! Would be such fun to do on a scooter but not in the rain! I used to organise family holidays for a few days -usually about 6-7 adults and at least 10 small children! Bedlam at times but fun!
@phil_howcroft no Phil & they weren't booked in, the one on the bigger bike was the scout so he just came in off the road. The others were still north of Kendal so dudntbarrive until later. You might be thinking of a couple of charity ones I've done before but they were push bikes @sarah19 husband & son did a charity one a few years ago & stayed here, I showed photos of them.
I had two unexpected arrivals at sunset as well. Google had told them they could do a round trip in two hours but it had taken them five to get half way. Google can't read the terrain it is sending travellers through.
I like your three good things too!
