They were collecting these bales this morning & got them in just before it rained!
Showery all day today so I think Autumn is upon us!
Three good things:
1. Listening to one of my b&bers describing the problem of getting the bubbles out of the clear 'window' in the new £5 note. His firm is one of two companies who make the new note.
2. A massive basket of ironing done this morning.
3. Reading in the afternoon, keeping out of the rain.
Nice rural shot Pat, look at that ominous sky! We seem to have gone straight into autumn - no interim weather this time! Hope it's a good book - I just finished 'A Dangerous Crossing' by Rachel Rhys. I picked it up at the airport and it just seemed like the best of a bad bunch but I thoroughly enjoyed it if you're ever looking for suggestions.
No not a very good book Jennifer. It's called You Be Mother & I borrowed it odd BorrowBox the online library site. I felt I needed to stop buying so many books for my kindle so thought I would be frugal but there isn't that much choice! I am perservering but it's hard going! Not so good reading it either, I love my little kindle! Will check yours out,I love recommendations thank you.
A lovely scene of the countryside in Autumn with the crop safely gathered in ! We have had it dry all day with the promise of rain overnight an tomorrow morning !
Beautiful countryside. I'm not ready for Autumn. I applaud you on the ironing. I really make sure I don't have to do that anymore. When all else fails the dryer fluffs.
@cdonohoue oh I'm a fluffier of towels Cathy but the B&B's have to have properly ironed cotton sheets! I gave a sitting down at machine so I quite enjoy it really watching tv at same time!
All is safely gathered in,
Ere the winter storms begin
Funny how memories spring to mind when you look at a photo isn't it.
