A bit of a fuzzy photo today as I took this with my iPad this morning.
I was a bit off colour yesterday so this morning took the opportunity to have an early morning cup of tea & a read in bed on a grey drizzly day.
The trees in the front garden are just beginning to turn golden.
Three good things:
1. A walk round the village for some exercise this afternoon.
2. The day improved this afternoon & got to 18degC
3. Simons cat, I love those cartoons!
A lie in is a treat from time to time Pat -- I hope it did the trick and you feel better ! Looks so cosy with the bright view of your garden through the window !
Good that there was no breakfasts to prepare! I like that you have focused on the book so we can see you are reading your Ken Follett book - a real one! Must check out that cute cat!
@maggiemae No breakfasts much on a Monday maggie, tends to be my quietest day. Loving the book but it takes some wading trough plus it's so thick it's awkward to hold. I gave been tempted to get it on my kindle but couldn't for shame when I had bought a few years ago in book firm. There is a sequel out this week sometime so,it spurred me on to finish it. In the end I had to start again as I couldn't remember the story line.
Hope you are feeling better soon. So good to have a lie in. I slept till 8.30 am this morning, absolutely unheard of for me. David came to check me out in case I was dead, ha ha.
I had the electric blanket on too!
