Red stairs by happypat

Red stairs

One from the past today, I forgot to take a photo when I was out in the village briefly this afternoon.

Preston Railway Station.

Three good things:
1. Cutting lines on M&S wrapping paper!
2. Got a refund after John Lewis sent a parcel to NZ with hardly any wrapping for a china item & it broke! This happened twice! Hope they have learnt a lesson but I doubt it!
3. Beef burgers for tea because I left them out by mistake yesterday, I found them in the washing basket after I had been in the deepfreeze.
Sorry I am chuckling and hope those beefburgers have not been through the washing machine..............

A nice spot of colour in all that meccano like place! Hope you were able to get out of the deep freeze without too much bother!

I like Maggie @maggiemae comment -- it does look like meccano - the pop of red makes it cheerful ! So you didn't have to decide on your tea -- the choice already made !

@maggiemae My grammar is not so good but just write as it comes out of my head! I was told theother day by daughter that my spelling was atrocious in these posts! I blamed predictive! I am out of the deepfreeze!

@julzmaioro I have done it before Julz, I don't always find the stuff until too late! My washing baskets live on top of utility room freezers so it's easily done!

@graemestevens Preston is a very nice old station Graeme, I remember standing on the bridge in my youth & the steam trains puffing smoke out.

@carolmw yes pretty old, a main line western station it's been there fir ages. Never modernised but lately they have stuck a modern bit on the side, totally out of keeping butnits not spoilt the inside.
