We got the tree ready to go into its stand today, all set to go in the house tomorrow.
Not very easy to see but there are men cutting down the sycamore tree in the background. It's on the other side if the wall & the new neighbours were worried about it blowing on their roof last week when it was so windy. The council came out & said it was unsafe.
Sad as it's a beautiful tree & the squirrels love it!
Three good things:
1. Got most of the house decorated.
2. Went to see Paddington 2, it was Ok, we quite enjoyed it.
3. Cathy came for her evening meal.
Nice to see the preparation for a big event! The Christmas Tree really brings the atmosphere alive! That Sycamore Tree is really predominant against the skyline! It will be a new view once its down!

Sad when tree has to come down but better than a disaster. Hope the squirrels find a new favourite place where you can still watch them.

Always sad when trees are taken down. We have had to take out 5 trees from our property, but still got plenty more.
