All trees up & decorated today.
It took me a bit to get motivated this year but I think the concert we went to last Saturday & the frosty snowy weather all helped. Getting the stuff out of the attic is always a pain but now we're all ready!
Three good things:
1. A new baby next door. Harry talked to grandad but forgot to ask the name or even sex....typical man non info!
2. Toad in the hole in the oven, the easiest tea to make I think!
3. Wedding guests cancelled this weekend because if the snow unfortunately but better to get stuck at home rather than here!
Beautiful and Christmassy , love the tree lights echoed by the lights in the window , suggesting a warm and cosy home ! A Christmas Baby -- trust a man in not finding out any details !! ha ha !!
Your Christmas tree in the window should be seen by all who pass by - probably not that many! Sounds typical - John is on the phone for ages but when I ask him what that person says, he replies, 'Oh, I don't know!
@beryl@maggiemae@julzmaioro Hopeless I agree, it's the detailthat matters in these women's things! Will have tomgo round myself & find out! They live in our rental half next door so very near, haven't heard any babies crying!
I haven't had toad in the hole for years, must think about cooking it again, but not until winter.
