Christmas with Jack.
We had Jack on Skype while we had our lunch, it was really good as it felt like he was with us all the way from Japan.
I cooked the turkey the Phil Vickery way & it was very successful too.
Lovely & moist but it did collapse a bit so looked rather drunk!
We haven't had our pudding yet so more food to come!
I understand from our son in Japan that they don't celebrate Christmas at all.. Our daughter in law is working on Christmas day and daughter is going to school! So Jack will be appreciative of you including him. Collapsing turkey is the best! Soft and tender! Lovely bright and happy picture - pity you aren't in it - there is the function on the camera known as delayed action?
Yes you're right maggie, Jack had been at school all day but finished school tonight for the holidays. Yes should have done delayed action but couldn't find anywhere to perch camera. Jack is off to South Korea & Hong Kong on Wednesday. It was nice to include him.
Lovely, and technology does have its advantages, although sometimes we curse it! Nice family image - we have family round today as alternate so our house will be very noisy today! It was far too quiet yesterday with just me and hubby!
