As usual I always say we should have pancakes more often, so easy to make delicious to eat!
Wished I had tidied the worktop a bit but a last minute quick photo!
Three good things:
1. A chat to Jack.
2. Collected Cathy's tiles for her, house looking good with all lights blazing tonight! Electrician did a great job today.
3. I shut Lily in the sitting room by mistake last night, luckily no mishaps!
A lovely reminder that we missed pancake day today! Actually they have small scotch pancakes on the breakfast buffet here in Norway so we didn't miss out altogether.
Pat - that's what traditions are all about ! they look gorgeous in fact when I first saw them I did not comment but got up and went to the Kitchen and made us a batch - delicious with the traditional sugar and lemon !
Poor Lilly I am sure she was bursting and glad to get out this morning !
@beryl Ha ha Beryl, glad I made your mouth water! Gary would be grateful for his mid evening pancake, men love a pancake! Was Alfie allowed a bite? Yes Lily must gave been desperate but luckily Harry was up at 5am & rescued her!
The only thing about pancakes is that you can generally only make one at a time so the poor pancakes maker has to stay by the stove for ages! Very nice picture - just the way I like pancakes, not all 'cakey" like the American ones!
@maggiemae Dead right maggie, the pancake maker is always the last to eat! Not so bad when there's only two of us but a family takes ages to get round!
Hubby is the pancake cook here.
