All you 365ers being treated to a Valetine's night out, perhaps will be a night owl tonight!
Not me I'm afraid, rather be in by the fire on this bitterly cold windy rainy night!
A very happy Valentine's Day!
I have had a different sort of day as I had a gastroscopy this afternoon. All is well but further tests to come.
Three good things:
1. So glad to get home out of the rain, the traffic was really bad but we made it there & back safely.
2. I'm enjoying Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Alright, a very different book but it's good.
3. A new roller coaster finished today in Blackpool. Fifteen million pounds worth....definitely not for me!
I love the owl. I’m not a great one for going out on cold, dark, wet nights but our wonderful village pub is almost in our front garden and there’s a sneaky little path from our garden to the pub garden 😁😁. We’re going there for a Valentine’s meal tonight. They do amazing food.
Love your little owl lamp - she looks as if she has little love hearts all over her chest ! Glad all went well today and hope all the rest of the tests will be fine ! I am sure you are pleased to be home , warm and dry tonight . Valentine didn't mean a much to us but our celebrations were birthdays wedding ann. and Christmas !( all the personal things to us )
@louannwarren brill try but in the old days you could lay to go on each ride seperate you but these days you have to pay a very large amount just to get in then you can go on anything! Not my cup of tea even when I was young!
We never celebrated Valentines but of course are constantly reminded about it by advertisements! I just got given a most delightful owl couple who are swinging around in the wind at the moment. Got to be a photo!
Glad that small op is over for you!
@onewing Well I got nothing Babs! Tea & sandwiches!! Not on the NHS although the two ladies before me had sedation & were lying on a bed when I went into recovery. Wimps! I only had the throat spray which numbed my throat & mouth so wouldn't have thanked you for even a drink! Yes glad its over but would have liked a tiny unimportant reason for tummy aches! On to blood tests now. I haven't had any pain for a bit now so perhaps a long term bu as I had apheadaches at the same time. We shall see!
Glad that small op is over for you!
Rain on Valentines definitely puts a damper on the romance!
Hope all goes well with the gastroscopy results. The best thing about a gastroscopy is the cup of tea and sandwiches while you are in recovery.
Fancy spending that sort of money in a roller coaster... hmmmm
