Some new yachts in the harbour at Fleetwood this afternoon. Getting ready for summer & all coming out of their winter quarters.
I went into try some shoes I had seen online that I liked the look of but wasn't sure when I tried them on. Played safe & didnt buy in the end. I did like some sandals with sort of Idian beading on the front but when I was walking about trying them the strap broke! I put then back quick sharp!
Three good things:
1. Three new telegraph poles gone in down our lane, all for fibre optic broadband! Not sure when they will get onto the next stage but it's a start!
2. The chap who has bought our old barn to convert into a house has started work & all very promising, he's a very tidy worker & is setting his stall out neatly before he starts. Tidying everything up before he starts, it bodes very well for future neighbourly relations!
3. I stubbed my toe this morning, it's very bruised but I didn't break it!
Lovely sense of spring here Pat. We've only just got high speed broadband but as far as I can tell it doesn't make any difference!! We still have problems loosing our connection from time to time. It doesn't stay down for long but it's annoying and I hoped high speed would fix it.
A lovely pov and scene -- love the white against the blue sky , roll on Spring and quickly onto Summer !! Shoe never look the same on line do they , I always have to try on before buying ! Its horrible when you stub your toe - I have a black toe from last week ! but no longer hurting ! Lovey to hear you have a neat and tidy neighbour !
Looks almost lime summer... starting to get an early morning chill here now☹... I just bought some fantastic shoes on line ... check them out ... Allbirds.. made from NZ Marino... super comfy... light and good for travel... i have 2 pairs now... grey and red...
@julzmaioro Wow I remember those shoes Julz! Jo has a pair of grey ones, I had forgotten about them. So glad I didn't buy the ones today, I will treat myself when I come over as I said I would.
@beryl Soecially with shoes Beryl. Glad I didn't buy them as @julzmaioro just reminded me about some NZ shies I tried on when Jo was over. They don't deliver to the UK but will get myself a pair when I go over in a couple of months.
