Lancaster Castle

Just a quick upload to fill in yesterday's gap. I am so busy at the moment time rushes by so no time to think of photos.
I was out last night too so I missed posting.

Lancaster Castle stands on a hill overlooking the city. I call it a city as it's the capital of the county of Lancashire but no one thinks of it as a city as it's really quite small & compact.
The castle is a very special part of the town.

@huvesaker William & Erin had a tour round here & said it was interesting. Used to be a prison too & they had several important trials here including the Birmingham bombing by the IRA.

A very imposing building. I remember it being a prison when we visited Lancaster. It would be quite a scary place to go if you were a convict.
