Resting place. by happypat

Resting place.

I'm liking the old graves slightly leaning in this church yard.

Not great news from Manchester Children's Hospital about Charlie after his operation yesterday.
I heard today from Dot, the oncologist had just been to see her at the hospital.
The odds aren't great, those were the words he used.
They are going to try & raise enough money to take him to Germany for Proton treatment. Even if they went for NHS funding they haven't time to wait to go through all the paperwork & application forms.
They need to get him there fast to give him any chance.

A nightmare for them!

Thank you all so much for your concern & prayers, 365 is a great community when times are tough.

Three good things:
1. It's a good thing we have no idea what's waiting for us round the corner sometimes!
2. Pulling together.
3. A hair cut, thankful in this hot weather.
Boo
Oh My...how can we on 365 help? Have They got a fundraising Page?

@huvesaker No not yet Boo, I'm not sure what they are going to do about raising money but I don't expect anyone on here to donate, such a kind question! They have a large circle of friends family & have set up this #thumbsupforcharlie page to raise awareness, they are not even a FB family so I think someone is perhaps advising them in case they need to set up a Just Giving Page but I've heard nothing yet. Bless you!

So sorry to hear that the news wasn’t what they were hoping for. Just be there for your friend as she will need someone outside of the family to listen and you will be a good support.

Not good news but there is still hope - and lots of love going his way.

This is a wonderful cemetery. So many here do not allow headstones so the lawn mowing can be done easily. Hopeful your friends will be successful in their quest. Prayers for all.

@happypat Believe me Pat you don't really need to do anything but just be there for a hug and listen ..
