A fantastic evening in a beautiful place, we really enjoyed it this year.
Stunning scenery, gorgeous weather, fairly easy clues that didn't stretch the mind & good company.
Near home so not far to travel either so I think one of the nicest farm walks we have been on.
A very nicely run place, the cows still go outside & they had Astro turf on the tracks, it was like walking on carpet!
In the distance you can just make out some of the others walking along the track ahead of us.
Three good things:
1. Just the right distance for an evening walk with friends.
2. Tasty pie & peas at the end.
3. No biting midges of horse flies!
We use to go to Holstein Frisian club outings and they were fun but seem to have all fizzled out .. people have got too busy for this type of thing ... it's a shame.. so good on you..
We used to have lots of them when we lived in Cyprus. One of the treasures we had to find on one hunt was hairs from a goat. You should have seen me trotting through a paddock chasing a goat to try and pluck some of his hair. I got them but the rest of our team were no help at all because they were rolling about laughing.
