There is no one at home today at my daughters house so I have come to keep their kitten company.
He likes to go outside for a bit now so I've brought my evening meal, a G&T, my book & iPad & we are sitting outside in the sun together.
Gus is growing fast but a little too small to be left for a day or two, he loves company.
Three good things:
1. Very warm still but not as hot as Jack is in Japan!
2. A week of meals out ahead of me, I can count four! 😋
3. Watching Gus chase flies!
Cute kitten.....and sounds like a lovely relaxing evening.
One of these weeks the house will be quiet here and I may manage that. David and Jenn arrive very late tonight and I have a pile of ironing like I don't remember for a long time......some may not get near the heat ....hee hee!!! ENJOY!
@sarah19 All go when you have family visiting Sallie. Enjoy it & then sit back & enjoy just the two of you! Cathy & Garth are in Edinburgh tonight. They have been to the Rewind festival in Perth with friends.
Agree with @beryl - the potted flowers are beautiful! Gus has grown since we last saw him! Its a responsibility for you to be kitten sitting when he's allowed to go outside! You must be staying the night here if they are in Perth!
Oh my this little monkey has run rings round me tonight! Didn't want any cuddles just stayed out all evening & when I decided to go home I had to catch him four times. Each time I put him inside he shot past me through the door again! Had to try & sneak up on him but he was too crafty for me. Eventually I put a dry leaf inside the door with him to distract him while I escaped. Next door will see to him in the morning.
