Cork this time but just as charming & interesting I think.
The decorated wall here took my eye. Wasn't too happy with the big waste bin but it does blend in a bit.
Three good things:
1. I visited Lydia in the shop she works in during the holidays & bought some shoes! Too tempting!
2. Another visit to the library, four books to go on with & a light easy read of Cathy Kelly's for a change.
3. I mashed our own potatoes for the first time tonight, not as easy to scrape now, we had it with lamb Henry.
The art work would catch my eye aswell.. great colours.. pity the rubbish bins not painted as well to blend in.. I'm not a big spud eater as well .. though like them roasted.. not so keen on math..
A lovely alley way Pat - love all that art-work - very tastefully done in colours coordinating with the rest of the alleyway ! The bin is not at all obvious I would have n missed it if you hadn't pointed it out ! New shoes - ready for the autumn ! I have been in sandals all Summer - it will be funny for a while getting back to shoes !! Perhaps a new pair would be the answer !!!!!
@beryl I love Boots Beryl but I didn't buy boots today, some smart pointy shoes with a block heel in a colour called Hunter. They go with my new dress beautifully....posh wear completely but lovely!
