A selfie in my new glasses today.
I had my eyes tested two weeks ago & needed a slight update on lens on my left eye. I was fed up of my old glasses falling off the end of my nose so didn't fancy putting new lenses in old glasses so bought some new frames.
At first glance in this photo they look much the same but in real life they have quite a bit of blue among the tortoishell.
Transition lens so probably would have been better inside!
Three good things:
1. I was given a card to take to the florist opposite the opticians for a small floral posy as a thank you for ordering!
2. Harry & I have survived 56 years of marriage today!
3. Off to the Westmorland show tomorrow so it's always a good day out but there might not be any photo or commenting!

I love shows...haven't been to one for years...shall have to fix that next year!
Looking fantastic Pat. I got new reading glasses recently and free prescription sunglasses too which are quite similar I think. Must find a photo for today now!
@huvesaker The Westmorland Show is our very favourite agricultural show Boo. In a field high up just outside Kendal in Cumbria ,it's full of sheep, cows, etc & great competitons & lots of crafts etc to watch. A proper farmers show! Yes glasses seem to be the theme!
I like the shape of these glasses on you and mine are the same with going dark in bright light. This is far better than extra sunglasses! Only four more years to the Diamond!
Very snazzy. Congratulations on your wedding anniversary too. We are getting close to 50 years (next year). the train robbers only got 25 years didn't they, ha ha.
