As I was going to be sitting most of the day I decided it would be good if I went for a walk beforehand.
On my way home I came across this sight, luckily I am very used to cattle so it didn't faze me at all. Rather glad I didn't have a dog with me though!
You can see the stile at the side of the wall. It was actually harder to climb over that steep stile than the walk itself!
Almost 8,000 steps!
Three good things:
1. We won the Ryder Cup! Such an exciting weekend, I love it! The atmosphere, the team work & just everything! Wisconsin in 2020!
2. Wood burner lit for the first time!
3. Joy on people's faces!
Aren't the beautiful and such inquisitive animals . When I used to take my last Lakeland - Max for a walk along the lane ,the cattle always came running to the fence and would rub noses with Max . No animosity at all between them !
I see you had the same thoughts as us. We went for a cycle in the morning, knowing that we'd be sitting on our butts for a lot of the afternoon! Nice image of this line up of cows.
I would be a bit nervous with all those cows gathering in front of the stile! We can be glad we carry our phones around with you in case of difficulties!
A beautiful sunny day here, so I raked baskets full of beech nuts from the lawn.
