While I was waiting for the visitors to come down for their breakfast I opened the front door & got down low to take this shot, love the leaves on grass.
So many trees round the edge of our garden, no good for flowers but very low maintenance!
Three good things:
1. We are "a little gem" according to last nights b&b guests....lovely words in the visitor book!
2. Woodburner on & the Sunday papers.
3. Roast potatoes.
@julzmaioro Just talking about that today Julz. He has this week really to get all grass cut for winter, going to be cold, windy & snowy by next weekend so that will be lawn mowers away I think. Clock goes back too!
Well done my little gem !! LOVE your pov in this shot , so many leaves to sweep up before the snow ! The grass is still growing - Gary just mowed ours this weekend - hopefully for the last time !
@beryl Thank you Beryl! Harry will sweep as many leaves off the path round the edge onto the lawn & then use his mucher mower to zap them all. The rest will stay on beds round edges for mulch, that's my story anyway, we have given up clearing them all & if we use the blower it blows away then comes back or goes into someone else's garden.
#1 What a lovely compliment!
Our grass looks the same. Our granddaughters arrived for a short holiday; I'm sure they'll help me with all the leaves and beech nuts...
Like your POV for this shot.. .. looks like Harry will have another mow yet..
