I took quite a few photos yesterday but I really liked this one of my daughter & granddaughter peering in this shop window. We did go in & it was quite an unusual shop but we didn't buy anything.
I have been out for my second lunch of the week today, four meals out this week, no wonder I feel full all the time!
Met up with my friend, Charlie's Nanna so had a good update how things are going.
The family are due to go to Essen in Germany for proton beam therapy & will be staying there for treatment everyday except weekends until 11th January. Charlie is home now although returned for one day to to have another minor op this week. He is a well as can be expected but obviously all these operations on his brain tumour has had an effect on him. Hopefully with professional help he wil bounce back again but for now one day at a time.
Three good things:
1. Two wood burners on in the restaurant, cold out today!
2. Continue to improve health wise & if eating helps I'm doing my best!
3. Taxed two cars online very easily!
@maggiemae Online Maggie, easy least! They send you a reminder the month before & then you go online put in the number they give you & your details come up, you pay up & it's done for another year!
Such a lovely English scene. We call it registration for our vehicles in NZ. It sounds such a long time for daily treatment and I do hope it all goes well for the family.
Super shot. So you are almost the name of that shop nearby.....up and running? Glad you are improving. Wishing you fully well again soon. I love doing my tax online now, saves that long queue in the Post Office and having to take all those pieces of paper with me.
Gorgeous cobbled street and enchanting shop windows! How can you tax cars?
