Loved the look of the light behind these shoes, never just fancy wearing any of these somehow! Verruca alert!
Three good things:
1. Just had my last meal out for a bit today, must admit the pleasure is wearing thin a bit by now, so ready for some time at home!
2. The cards I ordered yesterday arrived today....Christmas card writing is looming!
3. A Portuguese custard tart.
Makes a great image.. but always a bit yucky having to wear these shoes.. but the kids love to go 10 pin bowling .. so needs must.. thick socks.. your week sounds like my week coming up..
@carolmw Daughter had them in Lisbon & loves them. Our locally Cartford Inn sell them in the TOTI shop so I bought four. Told to put them in the oven to warm, I loved them but Harry thought too sweet. I shan’t buy them again though as they were so expensive! Talking £7.20 for four!!!
You have captured this light so well - just two colours! I couldn't help thinking about wearing other people's shoes either! The ones i looked at online seemed to be quite small so that is expensive. Easy to make yourselves I would think - just baked custard. Perhaps with a bit of jam on the top!
@maggiemae Puff pastry on the bottom maggie & sweet custard on the top. I used to make a custard tart quite often but this was a different taste, lovely warm!
