The bread order

I decided to walk to the village this morning mainly so I could go to the Armistice service at our war memorial but I got the wrong day!

Loved to see the bread orders on the shelf with every loaf there tagged with christian names....love living in such a close community!

Three good things:
1. NOW TV, we payed £12.99 this morning to watch the England/New Zealand rugby & the Brazilian Grand Pris tomorrow.
2. Good to watch & not really minding that much who won! Well played both teams!
3. Watching that wonderful Haka,
Boo
so wish I could eat normal bread...gluten free stuff is just awful

@huvesaker Corn bread from this bakery is just amazing Boo, my last meal on earth would be corn bread toast & apricot jam! I agree gluten free is not nice, I usually have some in just in case but it doesn’t inspire you! One good thing though it’s much more available these days!

We are just watching the game now, having saved it! John is making loud comments! ps...I sneaked a peek at the result!
I wish we had a bread shop - or maybe I don't .. I would go on eating fresh bread all day!

Nothing better than fresh bread. Glad we still have a bakery in our village.

I had to smile when I read your story about the armistice service. Will you go again tomorrow? Yes I would like to live in a small community too.

@busylady Not sure Judith quite possibly but so much to see on the TV in the morning so might depend on how cold or wet it is... might be lazy!

You stay so busy! At least you made the best of being in the village on the wrong day!

Such a warn and homey shot. Local bakeries are the best! I like how you composed this shot.
