I drove into Great Eccleston this morning after I had done two breakfasts. Harry still not well so I went to get the morning paper & two corn loaves.
Wednesday is market day so the stalls were being set up. You can see the bus shelter on the right & just before I took this shot there were about fifteen school children waiting for the school bus....you can just see it in the distance.
This photo is a little dark but it was only just going light & I did like the lights on the vehicles.
Three good things:
1. We could see a barn owl flying around outside last night.
2. Amazing what you see when you get moving in the morning....beautiful clear frosty sky with vapour trails & geese flying.
3. I hit my target steps this afternoon....the Fitbit was clapping it’s hands!
My friends grandson Charlie Robinson who had the brain tumour has just returned from his proton beam therapy last week.
There is a BBC2 programme called Hospital on tomorrow night Thursday 10th January at 9pm.
It’s all about hospitals in Liverpool & features Charlie & his parents John & Nicci.
It shows footage of his last major operation & they visited them whilst he was going through his Proton therapy.
Also the BBC team want him in Liverpool tomorrow morning at 8.15am to interview him for the news programme. Not sure which one or even if it’s BBC Breakfast.
It is to show that when things are at rock bottom there is always hope.
You have all been so interested & supportive I thought you might quite like to see it if you are around!
I read that the Beeb had been involved...wonder if I will ever get to see the programme. Bless his little cotton socks, hope he recovers. let me know how the programme went.
I love early mornings when I am up...lol Oooh would you like to cook me a breakfast plese? I don't start work until 9am tomorrow so you have plenty of time...hahah
@huvesaker Jack is going to record it on his fancy recording thing in Japan Boo. He is going to send me the link so will forward it to you. Charlie auntie lives in Australia so he’s doing it for her. No problem to send it to,you as you are involved & have been so good.
