As the late afternoon sun went down the little streets started getting ready for the evening meals. Lots of the restaurants had people eating all day but the smarter evening ones got busier later.
One thing we did notice was that they hadn’t got much choice for a small light lunch or a cup of tea & a cake!
Every thing centred on pasta, pizza etc which is lovely but at lunchtime even a sandwich would be good.
Loved the welcoming glow in this photo.
Three good things:
1. Another lovely Spring day.
2. Harry is happy, his bowling is getting into full swing on a Tuesday afternoon.
3. Our daughters printer is working which Is a good thing as ours is not!
So neatly staged with their pristine white linen table cloths - -- no afternoon tea and cake !! Ooh well Pat - when in Rome ,one has to do like the Romans do !! Nice to see the signs of Spring , Pat :)
@onewing Most of the places had heaters & you can see the glass partitions which certainly sheltered the seating area. It was quite warm actually 23deg during the day.
