Only just noticed these buds today.....funny because this actual rose is a much paler pink than this.
Three good things:
1. An entertaining evening last night chatting to some b&bers, a late night too!
2. They had bought some cheese I had never heard of before called Red Fox. It was slightly salty, I liked it.
3. I have decided to invest in some flowers for the many tubs in our garden. Wasn’t going to bother but presentation is everything so a good investment I hope!
@julzmaioro Yes have just tied up the leaves of the daffodils so already to plant our tomorrow, hope the frost stays away! Not really safe until the end of May but will risk it!
These buds are thick and full. Often find the rose when it finally blooms is a different colour from the bud. And I do agree - flowers for the tub - just buy ones that are already flowering. The look before they even get through the front door puts them in a frame of mind - got to see the best in anything!
Beautiful buds! I know what you mean about presentation! Our lilac and peony bushes are blooming and I added some containers filled with flowers. Buyer's first impression is sooo important!
