I visited the couple who bought our farmhouse just over twenty years ago this afternoon.
I had a couple of maps in frames that were relevant to their house & thought they might like them.
Their Labrador has had eight pups, sadly one died last Saturday but the rest are thriving.
Our favourite dogs so I could have walked off with one easily!
Three good things:
1. Two appointments done & dusted today...optician for Harry & haircut for me.
2. Lydia & Mathew have got a nice house in Lancaster to rent at last...as it’s a university city nice ones are gone in a flash so they are pleased. Just for a year until they decide their plans.
3. Strange to sit in my old front garden in the sun....it did look lovely but happier here!
ooh puppies! Don't tell little Hoo she wants one too but I just don't have the time for a dog in my life right now...shame though as I want one as well!
Puppies are adorable. Our next door neighbour loves Newfoundland dogs; he had a puppy some years ago. Too cute! She has grown up now and she is still wonderful.
If ever we got another dog it would be a Labrador but I think it’s unlikely....too old to start with pups & im not sure I could bond with an older one! So tying to when you want to travel a bit & have family abroad. Mind you Harry would love one just to keep himself at home...he is a home bird & very happy going nowhere!
You may go back - who knows! I understand your predicament. Pups are full on and require constant training and an older one might have issues to contend with. Funny how the pups are either black or golden all over - none a mixture!
