Show field

I’m posting this photo tonight which has no bearing on our day today,
We heard this morning that our house sale has fallen through!
A bit of a shock as they were so keen!
These things happen I suppose but a big blow as everything was just slotting into place! We had rental booked, the probate is about to come off the bungalow we are buying & buyers were keen.
Back on the market so have to get house looking good again even though it’s a bit bare.

This morning our opposite neighbour & Harry decided to move her sheep onto our field as Harry has sold his tractor mower. One mum & babies ran off down the main road & they spent two hours looking for them
To cut a long story short they are back in their field tonight.
Amanda the neighbour & Rosie her mum came round tonight & we've polished off a bottle of wine & a cigarette each...it’s that sort of a day!

No good things today!!

Onwards & upwards!
So sorry, hope you find a new buyer soon

Oh dear, well that’s terrible. I guess it wasn’t meant to be. If they were keen on it I wonder if their realtor talked them out of it for some reason. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you and Harry.

Oh what horrible news for you Pat!! I hate buying and selling houses - so heartbreaking so often. You can never be sure until you have the key!! It would take a lot to make me move again!! I hope you get a new buyer very soon and all your plans come together!!

Ooh ! Pat , what a disappointment , a real spoke in the works - so to speak ! Its like going back to the drawing board again isn't it - but don't be too disheartened ( easier said than done ) ! as I am sure you will soon have another buyer . Glad you drowned your sorrows tonight - I am sure you will feel better bout things tomorrow when you have come to terms with the situation ! Have a good night's sleep !

Oh, that's a real b.....r! But sometimes I think things like this are meant! Something even better is about to happen.

You naughty lady having a cigarette! I don't blame you though but I bet you felt so guilty!
You are surrounded by friends near and afar!

Oh what a bummer. So sorry to hear

Oh no, what a disappointment. I wonder why they pulled out at this stage. Fingers crossed a new buyer comes along soon.

Will you still be buying the bungalow?

Hoping that a new buyer will come through soon. So sorry that the deal fell through.

@onewing Parents house sale fell through Babs, yes we think we will go ahead. Feel better this morning about things though it’s a pain having to get house tidy & ready again when we have started packing up. These things happen!

@maggiemae Thanks Maggie, no I didn’t feel guilty but didn’t enjoy it I must say! It was rebellion! 🤨
July 16th, 2019
@beryl Thanks Beryl, yes feel better this morning, tidy up & start again, I slept remarkably well!

@pamknowler First time we have ever sold a house Pam so we were full of hope...should have known better! Thank you, next move will definitely be the last!
July 16th, 2019
@louannwarren thanks Lou Ann, they were buying it with his parents & the parents house sale fell through...they did have a worry about the roof which at first was the reason they gave but in the end we found out it was a financial reason.

What a disappointment, Pat. Let's hope a new buyer comes along soon.
July 16th, 2019
I am sorry your house sale fell through. From what I can see though I think they were looking for reasons to significantly drop your price so maybe it will have been for the best.
Hopefully, you will get another buyer soon.
As Lynda says though ... if you want a chunner let us know!
July 16th, 2019
So sorry your house sale fell through, very demoralising. Hope you have some good luck soon
July 16th, 2019
Oh dear - such a stressful process! Love the shot though!
July 16th, 2019
Oh what a disappointment about the house.............the right person and the right time will come! Just take a day at a time and be kind to yourselves. You are so good at 'three good things'.....that is the only way to deal with the down times!
July 16th, 2019
@willowdragon @lyndamcg Thank you dear friends, I will remember that! You are right I think Al...they used the intensive survey to offer less then when we suggested a lower price said it was still too dear. Turns out parents house sale fell through even though they originally said they didn’t need that money. The wife really loved the house & I think would still buy..you never know they might come back...it has been known!

@gijsje @carolmw @ellida @sarah19 Thank you all, it’s a disappointment but nothing in the scheme of things....only been on the market four weeks all together so mustn’t grumble!
July 16th, 2019
Oh no, so sorry! That's such a bummer. Fingers crossed another buyer will come along soon. It only takes one person to be interested!
July 16th, 2019
So very sorry to hear this. If it is any consolation, ours fell through three times before the thing sold and when it all happened, it happened in just a few days and it was all a big rush after months of toing and froing! Wishing you all the best and another buyer speedily :)
July 16th, 2019
Sorry to hear that Pat. I have been chasing a buyer for nearly a year and still no luck. Anyway chin up and move on.
July 17th, 2019
Sorry to hear your day wasn't the greatest. You should write a book.
July 17th, 2019
Oh no - just when everything was falling into place.
