A lovely meal yesterday in this elegant Georgian hotel.
We sat high up on a very large table & watched the world go by.
Harry & I have been out today too, it’s a very wet day so we decided to go into Preston & look at M&S jeans for Harry, his knees are coming out of his everyday ones.
We came back with Jeans, a white linen shirt, beige chinos & a pair of shorts. Most of them will go back as he doesn’t like pale trousers but I’m thinking hot summer weddings in NZ next year.
Three good things:
1. Even in the rain it was good to get out & walk around, if we had been at home we would have sat down all day!
2. Today’s lunch was excellent...Pierre’s in Preston. As Cathy said I will forget how to cook!! I took a photo of the inside but it’s not come out as well as yesterday’s.
3. The little kitten had a really good night, she is behaving beautifully.
Typical men! Wear something for years. Its very chic nowadays to have holes in the knees! Its always good to share with friends - a lunch or dinner in a nice restaurant!
Looking at the menu - the roasts on Sunday look great value!
I can recognize your shots even before seeing your name, Pat! There is just something so unique about the British restaurants and land / cityscapes.

@farmreporter Thank you Wendy...it’s strange that us 365ers can do this too, we all seem to recognise each other’s style after so long together....I can do exactly the same for most of my friends!
