Lake Wakatipu

Lake Wakatipu & Queenstown in South Island.
Cathy & Garth had a lovely cycle ride on this lakeside path. Cathy took a photo of Garth in the distance, you can perhaps just see him.
They took a coach trip to Milford Sound yesterday,..totally worth the long day they had.

Three good things:
1. No rain today!
2. Jacks birthday. Happy birthday Jack! Xx
3. A friend who is going through radiation treatment is coping well, her birthday today too! Happy birthday Phyllis!

Beautiful. I loved Milford Sound, remember it well and drinking water from a fall the boat came close to.....and all those dolphins and teeny penguins! Dramatic fjords. Ah you got me reminiscing!

Looks like a great day for a bike ride.. looka like Garth could lap Cathy hes so far ahead.. Very lucking with tbe timing to go to Milford the road was a real mess after that weather bomb a couple of weeks ago..

This is a lovely ride around part of the lake! Lots of houses and hotels but the trail is right by the water mostly!
