Dubai from the chaos inside

I managed to worm my way through the people sitting & lying & generally lining every space they could find & take this shot of Dubai from an inside airport window.

Unpacked, washing done, my first meal cooked but suffering a bit from jet lag. We were both up in the night & we have both been dropping off asleep periodically but we have the wood burner on & glad to be home.

I will start commenting again tomorrow hopefully when I’m more alert!

Watching the Coronovirus news is frightening & anyone not taking this crisis seriously is a fool.

We had two tote bags of fire wood delivered this afternoon....we left a cheque in a flower pot & he tipped them out next to the shed. Got to keep warm!

Its a nightmare out in that world but all we have to do is stay safe in our warm and cosy homes. Houses are not going to be bombed as in the War!

So glad you are home. I like this viewpoint of airport and city. Totally agree - anyone ignoring this is foolish. Saw last night a young lady of 21 with no health conditions died yesterday in the UK. It may cause more problems for those older and with health conditions, but there is still around a quarter to a third of the deaths are outside of those groups. Not one to mess with!
