We love our gardens...the place to be while in lockdown.

I went a walk down the lane, first to the end by the main road then the other way down to where the fields start.
Passed Jim & Magarets house...the thatched cottage & I noticed this pretty heart on the fence.

Three good things:
1. I managed to see someone to talk to.....five lots of neighbours all out in their gardens doing jobs.
2. We did talk but I have trouble hearing even with my hearing aids in.....no chance at 2 metres or more apart....I did my best but guessed at parts of the conversations!
3. Cathy & Garth came with shopping,..they moved our swing seat out of the garage onto our patio bit ready for the summer.
Very pretty! Lots of rainbow pictures in windows here

Lovely garden and beautiful heart.
I was given one by Sarah and Jonathan to decorate with blue hydrangeas for the church for the wedding.
Slight change of plan....but they are getting married....via Zoom!!!
It's incredible what is now possible with technology. More next week!!! And the heart is at their apartment for the event.

@sarah19 Well that is exciting Sallie....good fir them they can party afterwards! I do sometimes wonder if it’s all about the party & not the ceremony! Two weddings we were going to have been re scheduled for next year,

That's pretty, I could have a go at that, lots of old clematis stems to be cut.

So lovely to be able to walk and nose into the neighbours gardens as you go by . I spent a little time with Gary in the garden this afternoon - mainly as the charge hand - so much to tidy at this time of the year !

A lot of work put into this heart but it sends a message! You have lots of love around you and may that keep you safe!

Beautiful scene and the heart is magnificent. So much love is needed at this time of crisis for every one.

Such a lovely sweet scene. I promised Jerry after all this is over I would go get my hearing aids. He is worn out with me not hearing him. Ha!

What a lovely garden, and a sweet heart. Walking is good for the soul - especially at the moment.

Love it. I really feel for folk with no garden - until recently I was working in Bham inner-city with tower blocks and rubbish everywhere... nowhere to play or walk... enjoy your fresh air, especially when it's as pretty as this :)

We are so lucky to have gardens to go out in and countryside to walk in. I feel very sorry for those people who are stuck in cities.

It's nice to have an area outside to sit when the weather is permitting.

Lovely scene!
Next time you’re visiting neighbors on a walk just use your cell phones. We’ve had the distancing / hearing issue as well. We realized we can have a normal conversation - seeing/ hearing each other...only a little further distance away than normal!
