We spent a couple of hours last night & this morning decorating the lane.
We plan to all sit outside our garden gates & listen to a bit of music with nibbles & wine!
Eleven households down here so we will do our best!
Three good things:
1. So lucky to be of this generation....75 years since Peace in Europe was declared.
2. Our neighbour brought his new ride on mower & mowed the top of our field...it was getting a bit long & the sheep haven’t arrived yet.
3. So glad I purchased so much bunting last year...it was for sale on our local FB market place.
I hope you enjoyed your party. Neighbours are a bit few and far between round here and we can't see anyone from our garden gate so it wouldn't really work for us.
@dh Well it is difficult Delena... we are sort of spread out & bottom neighbours might have to come a bit nearer but we will be well apart & in our own road.there will have to be a bit of shouting,.Not so good fir me but some music & happy faces will go a long way. We might only last an hour!
I'm with @beryl ! John had the worst accident when the ladder fell backwards takin him with it and degloving one leg! Its a bit hard to put up though without a ladder!
