We went to our daughters this afternoon. Harry did a bit of strimming in the garden & Cathy potted up some plants she had bought in the garden centre this morning. SIL at work today.
I did nothing much ....not as nice as last week for sitting in the garden!
Three good things:
We passed this farm just down the road from Cathys, our youngest son worked here briefly many years ago. They have a prize winning herd of British Holsteins.
Good to see them out pasturing, sadly a sight you see less & less of in our fields today.
2. Although the roads are busier there are still lots of walkers about...people aren’t moving far.
3. Our lovely granddaughter sent me some flowers yesterday because I have been under the weather recently. They came in a flat box with little hats on the flowers, said ‘you’re flowers are sleeping’. After ten minutes in water they seemed to spring to life & today looking lovely! Thank you Lydia.
These boxes of flowers are a treat! Susannah and Sarah are both using the service and when flower shops are closed it's very easy for anyone.
Lots of animals out up this way too. Hoping for warmer days ahead!
A lovely peaceful rural scene with the cows lazing in the meadow , but what an ominous sky - so unsettled again at the moment ! Nice to go to see the family again and lovely to receive such a lovely gift from Lydia !

Lovely exposure of the sky as well as the fields!
