Janet who used to farm here with her dad but moved to a bungalow just down the road from us was baling her grass yesterday. She has two horses & a few acres so keeps very busy.
She got 25 bales off this smallish field & worked hard all day on her own until they were all baled wrapped & stacked in her barn.
Correction, this is not Janet in the tractor....she had her cousin come & bake & wrap simply because it’s not worth her while to own the hay making equipment!
Three good things:
1. A phone call from number 2 son in NZ.
2. It rained quite hard this morning so no need to water the pots tonight.
3. I did a token bit of weeding!
