Maize harvest

Getting the last few fields of maize in today.

It’s been along day today so no commenting from me tonight.

We have had Connie most of the day, she has been very good but I have walked further than I normally do.

That hasn’t made me tired so much as the backwards & forwards email about our house purchase. I have no idea why last minute queries keep cropping up! A bit late in the day when we have signed the paperwork. .
I wouldn’t mind if I could understand the legal phrase but it needs explains properly what the terms mean.
They send me documents & files to open then they disappear!
Coronavirus has a lot to answer for with offices only open half a day & no face to face meetings!

Hopefully we can exchange on Monday!
Well done

Oh, fingers crossed all goes to plan on Monday. Always a worry until the deed is actually done, but I'm sure it will all go well. You'll be happy when it's all behind you! Nice shot of the maize coming in.

A busy time of year for the farmer just before winter.

You will really need a rest once you move.

You will be going over and over in your mind what this all means. Just pretend it didn't happen and tackle it on Monday! Nice clear photo here!

It will be worth it eventually, keep strong and take breaks, that's what I say!

I do feel for you Pat. I've had a nightmare sorting out Ant's affairs. They were in pretty good order but solicitors dragged their heels and covid was everyone's excuse. There is light at the end of the tunnel and it will soon be over. All your hard work will be just a memory.

I hope things sort out quickly with the house queries. Here you are harvesting, while in NZ Josh is frantically planting.
