By this time of the year the cows are usually snug in their winter quarters but here we have a few still enjoying the grass & good weather. I’m thinking they are probably the cows in calf or perhaps heifers, I was too far away to tell.
Looking towards Beacon Fell where we used to farm twenty two years ago....
Three good things:
1. We have been getting stuff ready for our visit to the tip tomorrow! It will be so good to get rid of all the plastic pots, broken wheelbarrow etc etc left behind in this garden. I’m quite excited.....🤣🤣
2. A good walk with Cathy & Connie this morning!
3. I’m reading rather an interesting book called The Forest of Wool & Steel by a Japanese author called Natsu Miyashita. It’s beautifully written & all about a piano tuner.
A dull, grey and foggy day here.
I nearly posted one without the water but you could see the cows better but then I liked the reflections too!
