Such a miserable wet day...no walking so Harry & I ventured out to the local garden centre.
Lots of spacing & it wasn't busy....no masses of trees decorated, no Christmas music, no cafe open...a bit of a dead loss but we looked at Bird feeders & I bought some wrapping paper & two birthday cards.
These Christmas scenes always look very pretty...two large glass cases full of houses, shops & pubs. You can buy each piece separately & add to it each year...lots of little figures to buy too.
Three good things:
1. So many boxes of chocolates, biscuits, & good things to eat....it was mind blowing!
2. We bought only one Christmas present & that was for Connie!
3. I found my good hand cream....with all this washing of hands we need it!
They did look very pretty, it was quite dark where they were among all the trees for sale & different outdoor lights....it seemed quite weird though...no atmosphere as visitors etc all lacking! Somewhere to go in the rain though.
Very attractive festive decorations. My next door neighbour until a few years ago (because she moved elsewhere) used to have a corner decorated with items like these and they were so pretty. She used to buy them a piece at a time from an English supplier.
A beautiful Christmassy scene Pat. Who knows what we will have this year! Just have to make the best of what er get `I suppose but difficult to work up any enthusiasm!!

We were wondering whether to go but reports have said it was very busy.
