A rare sight to see these cows still out at this time of the year.
On our walk yesterday they were also enjoying the sunshine.
Three good things:
1. A quick chat with a friend over the gate....how we miss popping in for a quick coffee....will never take it for granted again!
2. Robins in the garden coming to eat at the new ground feeder we bought.
3. I have got the Christmas cards out....I meant to get started but have been on the phone instead but at least I’m thinking about it. I need to get them off early with change of address label inside.
What a wonderful scene , blue skies , a calm day and the cattle peacefully grazing in the field !Yes you will have to get those Xmas cards off early this year with the new address !
@beryl I made a start Beryl....feel organised now...it’s the addresses that do me...that & remembering peoples surnames...I can’t look up the address until I remember the surnames! 😳
Thank you...it as a lovely day & always good to look into the distance & look at the hills where we used to live.
Our kids all went to the primary school at the base of the one on the right with the trees on top....Beacon Fell.
Lovely shot. What kind of ground feeder have you got for robins? I need to get started on my Christmas cards too! Just haven't got any inspiration for Christmas this year.
@jamibann We buy a mixed seed called Robin mix & yesterday I bought some meal worms fir the first time but they haven’t touched them yet today. I thought it would be a real treat for them but obviously not used to them....
