Spooky

My walk up Beacon Fell with Connie today was quite spooky. Raining quite hard & foggy....of course Connie couldn’t care less & as usual was following her nose everywhere.
She is in this picture but you can hardly see her.
Best on black of course!

Three good things:
1. I had the whistle with me today...two short bursts on it & she appears out of nowhere...not right to my feet but in sight which is all we need.
2. Pacemaker monitors. Our friend Ruth has one & it alerted the hospital that her heart wasn’t just behaving. They had her in there for an ECG in no time! Very reassuring!
3. So wet today so we haven’t been near the builders, good that they have lots to do inside.

@beryl yes we were at the end of the walk Beryl so her little legs were getting tired so not as quick dashing about’

Well I missed this on the day.....but it's a wonderfully atmospheric photo. Good to have Connie with you. I'm a bit hesitant about walking in some places on my own but with a dog for company it's very different.
