Well they arrived today… had to wait all afternoon but they turned up around 5 o'clock. We are really pleased with them, took a bit of deciding which way to put them but for the winter months I think this way is best. We can have them facing each other but in the summer I think we will have one facing the garden.
Three good things:
1. Sofas are just the right size, a relief as it’s a guessing game really when you order them.
2. Our builder arrived tonight to look at some staining on the porch walls. He scrubbed it off & apparently it’s the wood leaking out as it rains. He’s put a groove underneath which he thinks will fix it.
3. I have just discovered our next door neighbour has a firm selling dolls prams….I would never have guessed!
Ooh ! Pat - the settees are beautiful - lovely tweedy look in a lovely neutral tone - just right in your room .and I can just se a peep of your dresser it will go nicely with the settees etc !
Thank you all, we are really pleased with them…. Very comfy & not too squashy like the last sofa we had…we liked the bounce back style cushion on purpose so we could easily get up from them….l wanted up off the floor too to get the hoover under there so very happy with them. A relief!
How lovely!! So glad you are delighted with them. You just never know until they are in place. It all looks like everything is working together perfectly and on the dark evenings a cosy place to be!
