Both sides of the road. Great Eccleston.

I walked through the village after my shingles jab late this afternoon & took a photo of either side of the road in the square. I’ve missed a few shops as I couldn’t get them all in but you can get a good idea of the layout.
On the right past the Courtyard cafe is the dentist, a beauty place, the barbers & the White Bull pub & further along the veggie shop.
On the left missing is the bakers shop then The Black Bull pub, a ladies dress shop, the community centre, fish & chip shop, post office & butchers.

Three good things:
1. We met our builder this morning & chose two stone flags fir the wood burner hearth.
2. The joiner came to measure up for wardrobes.
3. The door & window firm came to seal the front door & rehang a couple of the doors which had dropped slightly.

It’s been a good day!
